This is the largest religious monument in the world, and it is Angkor Wat. Once in your lifetime you must see this magnificent ruins at sunrise, it is breath taking for sure. Make sure you have a ride to the temple at about 515am, and it takes about 25 minutes from town, and you will not be alone. There will be a rush of 2000 or more trying to get the best spot to witness the sun rise over this amazing beast. My choice is to get there early, and instead of going with the crowd, as they turn left to the lake just before the ruins, I went right, and managed to get a front row seat for the show. And what a show it is, I went 4 times while i was visiting this area, and all were magnificent. Try to spend at least 4 days in the area to view all the amazing temples and other ruins in the area. Happy trails, and safe travels…LJD
